Hotrod 1978 CB750F2 Super sport with 13k miles on the chassis is now up and running. It was originally built with an 1160cc RC engineering motor. which is not suitable for the street. Drilled front disc brakes with rebuilt calipers and master cylinders front and rear. New fork seals/dust seals. New rear tire just installed. very nice fuel tank and side covers. New front tire/tube included. but not mounted yet. Some spare chassis parts included. The bike was stored in a garage since the mid 1990s. but was built in the mid-1980s with all the parts that are NLA now. RC Engineering parts include: 73mm 1054cc big bore kit. engine cases machined for big bore installation. special kickstarter mods. ported K-series head with Manley stainless steel valves. modified cylinder head valve cover. RC lightweight rotor. RC points cover. Engine currently fitted with a stock camshaft. springs and rockers. K-series carburetors w/pod filters. RC 4:1 exhaust system. Dyna ignition and lots more. Big old-school Lockhart oil cooler with adapter to the OEM oil filter housing keeps things cool. $4500 for everything. which you would probably spend just on the motor mods alone. I have a fresh title in my name on PNO status. Needs a good scrubbing up to make it sparkle once again. Re-listing the bike after a lengthy delay including replacing the stroker crank and rods with a stock F2 crankshaft and rods. The engine cases are still the originals. which were machined for both the RC big bore kit (73mm) and the stroker crankshaft. if someone really wants to go that route. Engine was assembled with new seals/gaskets and stainless steel socket-head bolts. Will consider older. lighter Honda motorcycles as part-trade. Must be street legal and in similar condition. It is a runner now. Just doing final dialing in with carburetor jetting and synchronization. Can't wrestle these heavy bikes around like I used to. so it has to go. MrHonda
