Honda CB 550 Four k 1979

Stunning example in really nice condition. this bike looks the business. This machine has had loads and loads of work done already. New battery. new air filter. cabs ultra sonically cleaned. new oil. new chain and sprox. new clutch. new tyres. valves adjusted and carbs balanced. this bike also benefits from an after market digital ignition system. The condition is around 7 out of 10. with 10 being show room restoration and 1 being junk. The fresh paintwork pops and is all to original spec. but is not without small defects. Wheels have some light corrosion. forks have some light pitting on the chrome. As you can see from the pics all else is as good as it gets the engine exhaust and seat are are mint. the frame was powder coated and shows no rust. This bike rides really nicely and pulls cleanly with no smoke or rumbles. Problems. The battery is not charging. You have to adjust the idle screw once the bike is up to temperature. The bike hesitates at about 3000 revs then pulls cleanly. The inside of the tank has been chemically cleaned but still looks a bit cruddy. I've been ultra honest about all the faults to avoid any haggling after sale is agreed. I understand that with a bike of this age one persons mint is another rubbish so please take the opportunity to view to view / test ride before you commit.
