Description

Up for sale is my custom Honda 750-Four Cafe Racer. This bike was originally built by Rhode Island builder Tom Law. Tom did the original build including an engine rebuild with new race cam cleaned and jetted carbs all the body work etc.The basis for the bike is a 1972 CB750-Four K2. The front forks wheels swing arm and shocks are from a 1987 GSX-R 750. The tailpiece and seat are custom and attach with Zeus fasteners.Guages are all new from Dime City Cycles. Speedo drive unit speedo cable tachometer cable are all new as well. The entire cylinder stack has been resealed with new gaskets by Flying Tiger Motorcycles in Maplewood Missouri. I recently cut out the factory original main fuse holder and replaced it with an appropriately rated automotive blade style unit for greater reliability and cheaper fuses (the original was famous for blowing fuses everytime it flexed or vibrated too much - since replacement there have been no blown fuses). There is an after market oil cooler installed behind the front fender. The exhaust is custom and finished out with a short Scorpion can. This combination sounds really nice without being overly loud. This bike is a blast to ride and I have ridden it. Which means it shows some minor wear from usage - this includes some scraping on the right foot rear set from using contact with the kickstart lever a paint chip in the rear of the front fender some minor paint chips on the tank. Tires have great tread and the battery was recently replaced. Before sale I will have the oil filter and filter bolt replaced.Bike starts off electric starter or kickstart. It sometimes takes a few attempts but starts and runs well with a little bit of choke and throttle manipulation. This bike is a looker and always gets compliments and stares wherever I ride/park it. It has been featured on Instagram and draws lots of interest at St. Louis' Vintage Bike Night. This cafe racer has been well looked after never been dropped has a clear title and is a sharp-handling relatively quick bike that you'll love riding around town. It has enough power to do the ton easily but is also fun to just cruise around on.I don't want to deal with shipping this bike but if you are willing to arrange and pay for shipping I will work with your carrier to make it happen. Local pickup is preferred. Title is held by my bank and will be made available/fed-exed to winning buyer as soon as possible once auction has ended and payment has been received.
