Description

Selling a custom Navy blue (a 1965 factory Mercedes color) 1966 Honda CB160 caf?. Selling it for a friend and client of mine. The bike is titled and registered in his name, ags are current. He;s looking to sell this build and start a triumph bobber next. The CB is very light now after all the weight reduction modifications and handles amazingly. The entire bike has been gone thru and rebuilt from the floor up. Every nut, asher, nd bolt have been either re-chromed (JIS spec bolts). Painted in midnight navy blue. The frame has been gone thru and de-tabbed and the rear section under the seat has been hooped to house the new battery and modern rectifier. The wiring loom has been stripped down and rerouted to hide most of the wiring throughout the bike. The hubs have been fully polished. Stock re-chromed rims wrapped with new Bridgestone Battlax BT-45 90/90-18” tires and inner tubes on both ends. The front fender has been cut down for a sportier look with the bike’s “lines” in thought to fit look better. The seat cowl is made from fiberglass and houses the new taillight. New distressed brown leather seat. New Hagon rear shocks with new chrome hardware. The tank was really clean to begin with, ot a spot of rust on it inside or out. New NOS Honda tank emblems. NOS Honda gas cap. NOS tank rubber kneepads. New chrome 7/8” Clubman handlebars and NOS Honda grips. The engine has been rebuilt with a 1.00 overbore with new pistons, ings, ollars, nd a fresh valve job. The carburetors have been soda blasted and rebuilt with original Honda parts and NOS velocity stacks. A Pertronix electric ignition has replaced the old points system (no more adjusting the timing!!). New chrome allen hardware have been added and all the aluminum covers for the engine have been chromed to a mirror finish. Dunstall Replica reverse cones for the exhaust. Much thought has gone through the bike to get to this point, lease feel free to ask any questions. It is truly more spectacular in person, lease email me to schedule an appointment with me to look at the bike if you’re in the San Diego, A area.

The last two pictures are of amy CR110 replica and a CB550 I built for another client of mine.
