Amazing 1970 Honda CB750 - Nearly All Original - 2nd Owner - Runs Great and Mechanically Restored to Perfection - Tons of Original and Sandcast Parts
The history of this bike is great, have an original copy of the original Colorado title and I purchased the bike from the original owner 12 years ago. I have photos of the original owner on this beauty in the early 70's, nd this Colorado bike shows it's Colorado chrome with pride...the dry air out here keeps chrome looking nearly new even after 46 years.
Great parts about the bike are that a professional motorcycle race mechanic went through the bike renewing almost anything mechanically needed with OEM and NOS parts...to include...rebuilt master brake cylinder and caliper - both are original and now work as if new, ront forks were drained of fork oil and refreshed with new fork oil and fork seals replaced with new and stock Honda fork boots added. Electric start was repaired and works beautifully. New tires, ubes and rim straps were added, s were new stock suspension. new spark plugs, ll fluids drained and new added, ew lenses added to the original faceplates of the tach and speedo (both are original to this bike and are in great condition), he seat has is original to this bike and has the original seat cover on it, s a duck seat, nd has the original 1970 pink foam under the seat and is comfortable to sit in still, as the original tool kit under the seat and the original tool kit bag and battery strap, riginal plastic chain cover, riginal K0 black handlebar controls, riginal acorn mirror, riginal turn signals all round that all work as they should, riginal rear fender and all that is attached to it, riginal wiring harness and original frame paint, riginal headlight housing with orig. candy gold paint, rig. plastic candy gold air filter cover, nd orig. fork ears with orig. candy gold paint, riginal in great condition tank with original gas lock and orig Honda emblems (tank is in amazing condition) and the tank was professionally painted using the correct paint (silver base, old on top, layers of clear coat sanded each time...the Candy Gold Paint on this bike is like a jewel in the sun, ront wheel and spokes are original, ront fender was replaced with a NOS (original front fender was cut short by previous owner in the 70's and comes with the bike), ew battery, ear rim is OEM and spokes also and were put on after I had the old 16 inch rim removed...had the new wheel and spokes on the rear of the bike professionally laced up. Original key and matching numbers ignition (ignition was moved up to the handlebars in the 70's and I have left it there...new owners choice if they choose to moved it back under the left tank area), lso the rear footpegs were moved up above the exhasut on the frame in the 70's which has been left unchanged. Exhaust was ordered directly from Japan and is a new no numbers exhaust that was professionally mounted onto the bike and the chrome is beautiful. Left and right plastic sidecovers are new to the bike and hold the original CB750 metal emblems (the old side panels I had repainted and they were damaged in the process but come with the bike also).
Colorado Titled in my name. Speedo reads 35960 miles and my mechanic said the engine runs very smoothly and is in great condition using his ear.
Frame reads CB750 - 1037945 and the engine reads CB750E - 1038229 - matching numbers bike.
