If you are into Supercross or are serious about competing and need a second trackbike—this may be the just the bike you are looking for. This bike was custom built for Team Honda MotoXXX, he most infamous privateer team in AMA racing history. These are the guys that Racer X Magazine quoted as being "An American icon who in fact changed the face of motocross and freestyle forever!"
In 2008 we acquired this bike directly from the team before it was ever raced. It was one, f two, ike provided to a team rider who crashed in practice on the other bike and this one sat new in the teamwarehouse. Weacquired the bike as part of large display motorcycle collection and has been kept in perfect condition. It has been used at trade-shows, alendars, nd in a window display at a local dealer. It has been out on the track at least 6x since we purchased it mainly just to keep it tuned up and in working condition. Unfortunately the collection has recently been dissolved and this bike is now up for sale to the highest bidder. Once it hit the track there are little signs of use mostly where the riders boots hit the engine and the the grips show some wear. It has never been crashed or laid down! The bike was featured in the O'Neal calendar as well as several publications. We are not motorcycle experts and don't even know where to begin in listing all the upgrades and parts that are on this bike. We know that in 2008 when the bike was acquired that just the parts list exceeded $6,000—not including the bike. Since we aren't bike experts, e are willing to send photos of whatever parts you would like for us to photograph. We have run out of room to store the bike and it is the last one to go.
Because this bike was manufactured for an AMAsuperiors series, t is not stamped or registered. It can be done through the DMV. It is stamped with an AMA sticker- Factory competition bikes do not have title or reg!
For someone who competes this wouldmake a greatpractice bike or perhaps even a main comp. bike. You can see the upgrades in these photos, his is a very tricked out track bike.Even though the bike is not used, e have it maintained and serviced bi-annually. Last service was in Feb, 015.
Good luck!
