Honda XL1000 Varadero Adventure Bike

For sale my Honda XL1000 Varadero V3 model.

I have owned this bike since January 2007 so 7. 5 years. am the second owner and never had a problem with it.

It has done 32. 00 miles. all genuine with an oil and filter change around every 1500 miles by myself.  

It is good all round condition but is not mint. it is 11 years old and has been used all weathers so you are going to see a bike that is mechanically excellent and has some age related wear so don't buy this and expect it to be brand new. sorry but had so many experiences with idiots on Ebay who don't realise what they are buying and then argue the toss later on.

The bike has Factory heated grips. Handlebar wind deflectors. handlebar storage bag. igher Givi touring screen. also have the standard Honda one. Crash bars around the fairing (vital if you buy one of these). new battery. Baglux Tank cover. Centre Stand (which is essential and optional extra on these). Smartwater forensic marking

It also has the full touring gear of factory fitted panniers and top box but I must stress these have been scratched over the years and the boxes have stickers on them. the panniers and the top box come off and I was going to sell the bike without them as they are not perfect but might as well throw them in. They would benefit from a respray which should be easy enough to do as the paint code is under the seat. There is also a crack in the front mudguard. was there when I bought it so doesn't effect the bike.

I have tried to be honest about the bike. it is an really reliable machine with a few cosmetic issues.

I am selling it as I have just has son number 6 and have less chance to ride. it is a second bike so one has to go and free up some funds. that said I am not desperate so please do not insult me by ringing up and offering silly money.
