Scorpion road legal exhausts with removable baffles. (which sound great).

Good condition for age. There are a few scuffs on it. shown in pictures but it is mechanically sound. The luggage and rack is tatty but usable.

I have meticulous records on Excel sheet. and receipts for work I have done since buying  in Aug 2011 and nearly all previous history obtained from previous owners and workshops.

All of the few known Blackbird problems been sorted. including replacing the entire charging system. generator. reg/rec and battery in 2011. Camchain tensioner was replaced at 28. 30miles

Tyres  (BT021 rear. BT023 front) both have about 2. 00miles on them and have plenty left. Chain and sprockets replaced at 34. 00miles. Last serviced at 35. 00m including new plugs. brake and clutch fluid. coolant flush. oil and filter. Fork Oil replaced Aug 2011. Rear Shock is aftermarket adjustable for preload and combined compression and rebound damping.

Brakes are still original Honda Linked ?ˆ?CBS?ˆ™ and work well.

I am reluctantly selling this to make space for a silly track bike. I own a Ducati 996 which I have been using on track days and really want to keep forever without bending. and the Blackbird has been for occasional commuting and pillion riding. For what it?ˆ™s worth I?ˆ™d love to keep it and would buy another in a heartbeat. It pulls like a train and is insanely fast in a straight line. The engines are so smooth with twin balancer shafts and alleged 165bhp at the crank.

Note. this bike was originally a ?ˆ?parallel import?ˆ™ from Europe which was common at the time. Sold by Motorcycle City of Farnborough. Therefore it was fitted with a Km speedo and odometer which the original owner replaced with a new UK version at around 6. 00Km according to service records. This is not illegal. I checked. So. real mileage would be around 40. 00miles. However. these engines are very well made. smooth. and run for hundreds of thousands if maintained. For the same reason. the headlight is a European model and some tape has been added to prevent dazzling oncoming traffic and to pass MOTs.
