1975 Husqvarna 360CR Mag Refurbished

This model Husqvarna has some great race history behind it. In 1974 Heikki Mikkola. the Flying Fin. won the 500cc World Championship Grand Prix on the same 360CR model despite stiff competition brought on by world renown Roger DeCoster.

The World Champion Replica I have up for auction has been refurbished with the intent to ride or race. The frame has been repainted using acrylic enamel automotive paint. the engine has been rebuilt. the rear Curnutt suspension has been rebuilt. and much more. The engine has had only 1/2 tank gas run through it.

The List Includes:

New piston. ring. wrist pin and bore.  

New main and gear box bearings.

New Viton main seals.

New engine seals and gaskets.

New fork seals.

New wheel seals front and rear.

Rebuilt gas Curnutts.

New drive chain.

New NGK B8ES plug.

New front Metzeler 90/90-21 and rear Pirelli 110/100-18.

New air cleaner element.

New seat cover. grips. air cleaner to carb boot. and new air cleaner water-shield rubber.

A leak down test was performed to insure there were no vacuum leaks.

Engine timing was set using a dial indicator and a buzz box (stock Femsa points ignition).

The stock Bing 54 1/36/114 carburetor was completely disassembled. dipped and cleaned before reassembling with a 175 main. 45 pilot.

3. 16 jet needle. and the stock #53 slide. Jetting requirements may differ based on your location.
