Description

1970 Husqvarna Sportsman 360 C "4 speed" (not the eight speed)  This is an unmolested original condition motorcycle. I purchased from original owners nephew. It has a "Washington State Title". Has normal "patina" for a 45 year old bike. Some scratches. scuffs. wear marks. paint chips. specs of  mild surface rust etc. If you want more close up pics. let me know. It has original front tire. and aftermarket rear tire in great shape. As far as I can tell this has never been apart or painted. It has all the original parts: lights. wheels. handlebars. speedometer. battery stand (no battery) battery switch. exhaust. fenders etc. etc. The tank is in nice condition. one little ding on top right. no dings in the chrome. old clear coat residue in spots (I think could be buffed out by someone knowledgeable) . and a few chips. scuffs on top (Vintage  Hi-Point Route  Sheet Holder hides worst of it). The speedometer was working when I purchased it. and I do believe the mileage is correct. especially with the original front tire. Somehow between clean up and tune up etc. it doesn't seem to work. The rear drive works as I checked it and it is turning inside the drive. New cables can be made. as I had some customized for my 72' and 74' Husky WR250's in Seattle WA.  Original owner coated inside of tank. This bike fires easy and runs very well. The lights work. and it shifts through the gears nicely. I had a retired professional motorcycle mechanic completely go through carburetor. set timing. new right hand crank seal. nbsp;new OEM  Karkoma petcock. new air cleaner.  rubber kick stop. and grips (not glued on). The handlebars while original need to be re-chromed. they are definitely the worst of the components.  The wheels have some discolored areas. but are original.  Rear brakes are fine. front brakes a bit weak. The "tickler" leaks a bit of gas  only when priming (as do my other Husqvarna's) but once running is fine. While I cleaned on it some. a good thorough detailing would make it really shine!

Comes with Vintage Hi-Point Tank Route Sheet Holder (in excellent condition); Vintage Malcom Smith Rear Fender Bag (good useable condition) and an Authentic Husqvarna Workshop Manual (excellent condition) * You will have to buy some leather strapping to attach the bags.

Please look at pictures. if you need more let me know and I will try to accommodate.

Please ask questions and I will try to answer. or find an answer if possible.

This is an unmolested classic intact and running with title! If you are looking for a "fully restored bike" which is no longer "original" you need to keep looking. although if that is your goal this would be an excellent choice for a full  restoration!  If you want an "original" 1970 Sportsman 360 C with some natural patina that runs you won't be disappointed.   Thanks
