1940 / 1938 Indian Chief, runs & looks nice

I got this bike last month from an estate, t had been sitting as an indoor display for years.I got it running and it all works fine, uns & rides good. Ive put about 100 miles on it since it then.the paint looks pretty good, ut theres a few small marks & scratches, amp; one lifted chip near the right gas cap, ee pics.
frame & engine numbers do not match. The title says its a 1940, amp; its titled to the engine, hich going by the numbers, CH, s a 38. the frame # is really hard to read but looks like its dated 45.the correct 1938 cylinders are there, nd in nice shape. the heads look to be from the 40s
as far as I know, he parts are original, ot repop, ut I'm no indian expert.
