1971 kawasaki f8 bison dual sport,

Unrestored. original. true survivor. Single cylinder 250cc 2 stroke. Im the 2nd owner and personally know the original owner. This is a street legal. with a title dual purpose motorcycle. Head light. brake light and running light all work. This bike does not have blinkers but is grandfathered in because blinkers were not mandatory in 1971. Brakes. transmission all in good working order. Engine ran good. I rebuilt the carb and also installed a new oem float. I checked for gas leaks and there were none. I did not adjust the carb adjustment screws so that will be needed. Inside of gas tank is rust free.  Tires are not cracked or dry rotted and hold air. Oil injection works. Choke is mounted by the throttle and works properly.  Speedometer. odometer. and neutral indicator light all work. The seat does have a tear and the foam is starting to dry rot. The oil tank does have a dent in it. The rear taillight has a perfect circle hole. All can be seen in the pics. The carb cover was drilled out for a remote air filter. These covers on easy to find. cheap and Nos(new old stock).  That should be all the defects with the bike.  This bike is in great shape. Underside of fenders are not scratched and fully painted. With a little cleaning this would make a great showpiece or man cave decoration. or a nice rider. I have the original owners manual. two service manuals plus some extra parts. The original motorcycle cover is in pristine condition and come with this bike. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost. A professional  shipper can pick the bike up at my house can be arranged.
