1980 Kawasaki KZ1000 LTD - Restored - Muscle Bike - 250 miles since completed

1980 Kawasaki KZ1000 LTD. This KZ has undergone a Professional Complete Frame - off Restoration / Total Engine Rebuild with only 246 miles since finished just a few months ago. This bike Starts, Runs, & Rides better than new, and is ready to go anywhere you want to ride. I believe that the large pictures that I have included below really speak for themselves as far as the restoration quality. There really is not a part on this bike that has not been replaced or refurbished but I will list what has been completed below.Cosmetic Restoration:Frame, Swing arm, & brackets were sandblasted & refinished with PPG Deltron Black with Clear coat - Body work was Proffesionaly repainted with PPG Deltron in the Original Color "Sundance Blue" & it is Flawless - The Seat pan has been restored & recovered in the Original Pattern - The Gauges have been totally refurbished with new glass & faces, They function as they should & accurately show the miles since completed - New Side covers with standard KZ1000 emblems (original LTD emblems included). Handle Bar switches have been refinished - Every single Nut, Bolt, Washer, Screw has either been Replaced, Polished, Replated - All Aluminum Engine covers have been polished to a high luster - Front & Rear Wheels recieved a highly detailed repaint - All rubber foot pegs have been replaced, as wheel as new grips on new Superbike style handle bars - This bike looks even better in person!!!Mechanical Restoration: Engine has been totally Rebuilt with many performance upgrades 1105cc (Specs Below) - Brand New Tires Front & Rear - All new wheel bearings, steering neck tappered bearing - Brake system is All New, calipers disassembled, painted, new seals installed, Front master cylinder has been replaced with a better modern unit - New 630 Chain & sprockets - Front Forks have New seals & oil - Very nice sounding baffled Kerker 4-1 Exhaust system - Brand New 34mm Mikuni Flat Slide Carburetors & K&N filters - Electrical sysem has been upgraded with Dyna S Igintion, Dyna Coils, New Spark plug Wires, Stator, Regulator, Rectifier, & New battery.Engine SpecsWiseco 1105cc Piston Kit with Pin buttons (no "C" clips) - Crankshaft was sent off to Pearson Racing to be Trued, Welded along with the tranny to be undercut - The Crank main support has been milled & a main support plate installed - all internal engine bolts have been replaced with APE Bolts & Studs - Web Cams 395 lift, New cam sprockets, cam chain & tensioners, manual adjuster, new cam buckets(shim under buckets) - New Larger clutch basket pins and welded with new clutch disc, roller clutch pusher, over shift bushing.
