I've owned every color Concours, ld models and new... and Black is definitely thee best color for this new model. It looks killer in the pictures and even better in person...This bike is Gorgeous!
In regards to Sport Touring bikes, hen comparing the Yamaha FJR and Honda ST1300, he Concours is by far my favorite...Why? The FJR is awesome, ut it desperately needs an overdrive gear and it looks kind of weak with the bags off. The Honda ST1300...Well... I love Hondas, ut lets face it, he bike just looks anemic, t looks too much like the old Pacific Coast 800's.
The Concours has the overdrive gear and looks killer with the bags on or off and has the most carrying capacity to boot~
The only reason I amlisting this beautiful, erfect running bike atbelow low blue book is because it does have 55,800, ut as anyone who knows these bikes will tell you, hese bikes will go 150,000+
I just replaced the rear tireon 2/6/15 with a Michelin Pilot Road TC2 and replaced the rear brakes with Double H brake pads, ince I had the wheel off.
It has a Cee Bailey windscreen that is electrically adjustable. It has the KIPASS system that lets you just keep the FOB in your pocket and start the bike without fumbling for your keys. Very handy when you're putting on your gloves, elmet etc.
