Description

RE-LISTED due to non-paying bidder. I don't know why the fella did not follow through on his bid. He did not come look at it, o that was not a factor.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you notice, he clown that was the non-paying bidder on the original listing left me some negative feedback. I STILL have not received the payment for the original listing, wo weeks after the close of the auction, nd one week after the payment was due.
Ebay says this slanderous and incorrect feedback will be removed in 4 days. Don't ask me why. Ebay says something about how long a case has to be open. Myself, am gonna do the decent thing and not leave feedback on this clown until the open case is closed. Then I will, assure you.
In any case, ook closely at all my other feedback as a seller. You WILL see what is up with me.
I did not "disappear". I merely asked that he communicate with me through Ebay. That was in response to a phone call from him FOUR days AFTER the payment was due!! At that point, hat was the first communication I had from him in the ELEVEN days since the auction ended.
Then he has the gall to act like nothing is wrong at all, nd is angry I wanted him to communicate with me though Ebay (so as to be on record, nd since he had defaulted on the auction and his obligations).
As far as keeping his deposit, ou damn sure betcha I DID! That is what most sellers do with most NON-PAYING bidders deposits. And if you make a deposit, nd don't pay, nd don't communicate, will keep your deposit too!! AS MOST SELLERS!!
I have been on Ebay selling for well over 15 years, nd have sold a lotta items, nd this fella is the FIRST clown I have had a problem with (knock on wood). As I stated, STILL have not received payment on that auction. 'The check is in the mail'........you know that kinda thing. So, voided that original auction that he did not pay on and have re-listed it here & now.
It would had helped a whole lot if he had responded to an email I sent him (through Ebay) when payment had not been received (7 days after the auctions closing), ut he did not.
REST ASSURED, have NOT "disappeared", hatever that means. I just spoke with Ebay about this mess. You can call me anytime at 479-206-3844. I have lived in Booneville, Arkansas for the last twenty years. You are welcome to come look at the bike and drink a beer. We can cut up and laugh about how stupid the occasional clown can be on Ebay. Message me and I will happily give you my address.
I full well understand the clown being angry at what happened, ut he needs to be angry with himself for not paying, nd not paying as prescribed, nd not communicating for 11 days after the auction.......not with me!
This is as simple as it gets. Ya make a bid; that is a CONTRACT, n OBLIGATION, nd an AGREEMENT to the sellers terms.
With me, ow and as always........ya make a bid, ay the deposit in time, nd pay the remaining balance in time........ya WILL get your item as described and pictured. Sure as the sun rises. That is how almost all sellers are on Ebay. A great bunch of sellers here.
BUT, a make a bid, ake the deposit, nd THEN don't send the balance within the time prescribed, nd (most importantly) then don't communicate or respond within that time frame (thereby giving me a chance to work with you)..............then SHAZAM Gomer........ya ain't gonna get your deposit back, nd ya ain't gonna get the bike in no case!! GEEZE.
I apologize to have to air dirty laundry here, ut I have no choice. I have been unjustly and wrongly attacked, nd I will defend myself.
Thank you for your patience and understanding! I very much appreciate your bidding.
I have a 1974 Kawasaki 500 Mach III two-stroke motorcycle. You see a couple of pics of her in the barn, nd then the rest after I cleaned her up. The older gentleman I got it from said it has been parked in that one spot since 1982, nd it sure looked it.
He said his nephew (or cousin, forget) had hocked the bike to him all those years ago, nd that the nephew had just recently died, o he decided to sell her. The last tag on her was an Arkansas tag of 1978. The odometer shows it just going into 3,000 miles, ut who knows what is really on the bike? The rear sprocket show no mechanical wear to speak of, o that may be the real miles.......no telling.
The bike has NO TITLE, nd is being sold with two bills of sale only. I will give you a copy of the bill of sale from the fella I got it from, nd give you an original bill of sale from me to you. The Ebay selector would not offer a selection of 'no title' on the icon, o I just punched in 'clear'. But, his is a 'Bill of Sale' auction only.
I DO have an Arkansas State Police form 'Certification of VIN Inspection' filled out by law enforcement. It basically means that the vehicle is not stolen and that the VIN is authentic. If you live in Arkansas, t would help you with obtaining a title. I will include the original form with the bike. It is dated May 17, 016.
I am very far from real knowledgeable with these particular bikes. So, will offer up some observations. If I am incorrect or deficient somehow in my description, eel very free to contact me to get me lined out.
I would estimate it to be a good candidate for a restoration of one sort or another. It appears to me to just about be all there and original, xcept for a missing LHS cover, nd the throttle sleeve.
Obviously, he has some corrosion issues. The seat pan is very badly corroded all the way around its base rim. The frame looks to me to be in very good physical condition, ut also has some light surface corrosion in places. The engine turns over and has good compression. The transmission goes through all it's gears. The clutch will pull, ut is very stiff. All the rubber on the engine intake side needs replaced. The front of the engine has a lot of caked on dirt and oil just under the exhaust outlets. I don't know what may have caused that.........I think maybe the center cylinder had a bad exhaust leak by the looks of it. You see in the pics evidence of that.
The electrics appears to be all there, xcept for a battery of course. The electrics need gone through of course.
The tank is rusty on the inside, ut does not leak. I put some diesel/motor oil mix in it and washed it around to try and slow the rust down, nd seen it did not leak then. The is a small dent on the RHS near the front. It is pictured. It is about 3 inches across, nd maybe 3/4 of an inch deep. It is pictured. The paint on the tank is pretty fair, ut has a bit of corrosion in a few small spots. I did not take the tank off, o I don't know what it looks like underneath.
The seat cover is all there, nd the foam feels fine underneath........but like I say, he seat pan is a mess.
The front brake is in-op. The rear one works.
The VIN # on the frame is H1F-19031. The engine number is KAE89089.
The bike rolls just fine, ut of course does not run. Obviously, t needs a complete going through and restoration.
The pipes/mufflers are in pretty good shape, xcept the RHS lower one appears to have been scrapped plenty on hard turns. It is dented in and flattened, ut still appears to not leak there. There is a picture of that.
Check out the pics carefully. I want you to know EXACTLY what you are getting and be very happy with your purchase. Check out my feedback. I will treat you right.
It has some original Kawasaki tools with it, ut I did not get a pic of them. The tool pouch is missing.
It has one key with it, hich turns the ignition switch just fine.
NO WARRANTY of any kind is provided for. The bike is completely un-roadworthy and needs a restoration.
I would prefer a local pick-up, ut am willing to ship world-wide IF you take care of all cost, ake all the arrangements, ncur all the associated cost, nd incur all the risk. It can be picked up here by a shipper, r I am willing to haul it to Fort Smith, rkansas to a shipper for a $75 fee. My hometown is about 40 miles SE of Fort Smith, rkansas.
Please feel VERY free to ask me any questions. Please get complete clarification before bidding. I would be happy to speak to you by phone if you like. You are welcome to come and look at her before bidding.
I need a $500 deposit (NON-REFUNDABLE) via PayPal within 24 hours of auctions close. I expect the remaining payment within 7 days of auctions close, hether it is picked up by then or not. I am willing to hold and store the bike here for 21 days. I will accept a check or money order (with time to clear), r cash (only) at time of pick-up. No other methods accepted.
I will accept no 'Buy it Now' offers. This is a 5 day auction and has no reserve, ith a starting bid of $2,000. This is a straight-shootin' auction. Nothing complicated, nd no if's, nd's, r but's. I am NOT selling it locally, o no worries there.
NO BIDS accepted from zero feedback purchasers. And no bids accepted from folks that have a poor feedback rating as far as purchase payment history.
Thank you very much for looking and bidding!!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!
