1996 Kawasaki GPZ500S Black EX 500

I bought this bike as a hack while I was rebuilding my CBR after a crash. In the end I never rode it because I had fixed my bike by the time the doc had said i was aloud back to ride again. Its a brilliant little bike. pulls nicely and sounds great.  Good bits:Loads of paper workAlmost new chain and sprocket kit with roughly 200 miles on them. 11 months MOTGood commuter or first bikeBad bits:Relatively high millage at 49813. Small amounts of crash damage on belly pan. mirror. front light cowling and bar end. If you would like more images of the damage I can email it to you. A stud has been snapped off on the rocker cover. see picture 10. There is a bit of an oil leak from the cam chain tensioner. I have fixed this with a some gasket paperThere is a bit of a rattle from the engine but i think its the primary drive and/or the cam chain which is normal for these engines. (Google GPZ500 engine rattle)The exhaust is blowing from the headers. I have now fitted new copper gaskets and there is no leak. There is a small dent in the tank next to the fuel filler cap but I cant get it on camera. On the MOT the only advisory was "rear suspension bearing has slight free play"There are also some marks on the very top of the fork bottoms from when a previous owner had fitted some fork gators. nothing to affect the fork seals. If you would like to ride it away I can tax it at buyers expense. Looking at the old tax disc. tax will be about £31.
