KTM990 SMR Supermoto (Not Super Enduro)

990SMR a full fat 2010 model (registered in 2011) if you know these you will know the 2010 is the only model to have for the big brakes. better suspension. light wheels etc.  And yes its fitted with TXC tyres. the rear is a 180 Knobblie. quite something to behold.  It rides perfectly on the road. these tyres are as you would spec up on a 1200GS if you're Ewan or Fatty on a round the world trip. This was my dream. I had the Pyramids. the Taj Mahal. the back street dirty seedy bars of Marrakesh. the sunshine. loose women and cold beer were all in my sights. then marriage and a baby within three months and its all gone out the window.  I am a KTM man (950sm. 290 SDR. 505sxf and 990SD) I wanted to source a Super Enduro but they are very rare. and I stumbled across this in standard trim early this summer.  Since then I fitted Rental Fat Bars. a top quality Puig Screen. and only last week the TXC's less than 20 miles on them. ten of which off road. Suspension is standard but wound back to its softest settings. This bike is the most capable I have ever ridden. Motorway. Back lane or Forest it is unstoppable comfortable light and as fast as you would ever need.  It was dropped by its previous owner on a roundabout in January this year. which scared him. then it sat in his shed until I bought her in July. Consequently it is registered as a Cat D and has minor damage to the frame on the right side by your foot. scratches to the right side body work . and a crack on the clocks. All shown in the pictures. none of this effects the riding of course. and coming from dirt bikes and for what I bought this for. none of it matters to me at all.  It has full service history up to its last service at 17280 miles so is fresh and ready to go. Bought new from Premier bikes by its first owner. who took it to his house in Italy for three years. perfect bike for the Alps I am sure. he then sold it back to them who sold it to the chap I got it off.  A fantastic bike for the winter commute to work/shops/South Africa.  Please message me through Ebay. no part ex (the garage is full) no bank transfers. cash on collection ideally.
