This auction is for my original unrestored 1956 Lambretta LD150 which I have owned since 2007.

She starts and runs and passed an MOT in 2011 to get registered (registration number is 740 YUL ?ˆ“ the number shown on the plates 932 DNU on the scooter was her original number back in the seventies ?ˆ“ I haven?ˆ™t tried to reclaim the original number but auction includes some paperwork from the 1990?ˆ™s including an MOT under the original number if you wanted to try and reclaim it.

Also included is an official dating certificate from Lambretta Club UK.

Since MOT in 2011. the scooter has done no miles and with the kids getting older. I cannot see that I will have any time soon to clean her up a bit more or ride her much.

Body condition is hopefully clearly shown in the photos ?ˆ“ original paint with some surface corrosion. most of which would polish off. Some small splits in running boards which could be easily welded if required ?ˆ“ auction also includes the original rubber running board strips for both sides which were off when photos were taken.

Speedo shows 35. 93 miles which equates to around 610 miles per year of her life!

The two obvious items that need sorting are the front saddle cover which is tatty although possibly repairable by a skilled leather worker. Secondly is the toolbox lid is missing and needs replacing (scooter came to me in 2007 without the lid).

Scooter is currently taxed to May 2015 (free tax) and of course is MOT exempt being pre 1960.

V5 registration certificate is in my name. The current reg 740 YUL is detailed on the V5 as non transferrable. but please note comments above re: original reg

-          Original 39 page Lambretta /Innocenti 150LD Instruction Manual from 1957 (bit dirty and worn with some handwritten notes in English inside)

-          Reproduction modern copy of the Instruction Manual

-          Original Lambretta 172 page official Lambretta Home Workshop Manual illustrated with dozens of photos and includes pull out wiring diagram

-          Original Lambretta 160 page ?ˆ?The Lambretta Serviceman?ˆ™s Book?ˆ™ illustrated with photos ?ˆ“ First Edition covering models TV Li LD and LC

I hope this goes to a good home. Could be ridden as is or a good basis to restore to pristine.

Inspections welcome and encouraged before end of auction. Scooter is in Bournemouth.
