Indian GP 150.
Due to other commitments I will not have the time to complete this project which I started earlier this year. That said I do know what this is worth & am not desperate so I'm not giving it away.
Has the dating cert (1981) from the LCGB & the NOVA registration is done.
Totally stripped. Welded the damper brackets on the forks. Frame & Forks have been bead blasted then powder coated in white. Both in very good condition before this with only very little surface rust.
All the other body panels are in very good original condition but still need to be painted. couple of dints to each side can but very little rust anywhere & no splits that I can see. Bonus is that they will not need any major work to fit back on to the frame as it is the one they came on.
Engine is purely by luck an "Inocentti" casing !! Rare in an Idian GP but I am told that a few were bought when the production moved to India and were fitted there. Engine has been completely stripped & again bead blasted as I was going to paint it. All the internals (gearbox / clutch etc) are with the bike & look in good condition.
I have accumulated many (expensive) parts which I had intended to use for the build & these will be included in the sale as below.
BGM RT195 Kit. BGM Stator. BGM Cdi. BGM Wiring Loom. Mazzuchelli Crank. Dellorto 28 PHBH Carb. Hagon Adjustable Rear Shocker. Italian Rear Hub. 2 x SIP Performer Tyres.
Also have 2 Stainless Fresco Exhausts. 1 over kickstart & 1 under kickstart. (buyer can choose which they want).
Also have a pair of Stainless fork links but they are the ones that will require the brackets to fit the dampers.
Overall this is a blank canvas for you do finish to your taste & you WILL know what has gone into it rather than buying something that someone else has tinkered with. Will need the other usual bits (bearings / seals / chain) for the engine & (cables / speedo / fixing kit) for the body to complete the build.
Veiwing is welcomed & you can contact me on 07784-350851 to arrange this but any questions will be answered via E-Bay.
The serious bidder will know how much the bike & parts listed above would cost to buy and the start price reflects this so please no silly offers as they will not be entertained.
Good Luck.
