Description
This 1955 Velocette 500 single (MSS 11478-S) was originally purchased for the 1955 Catalina run by owner/driver unknown. Later purchased by well-known flat track racer Marvin (Porkey) Johnson. He was well-known in the 40s and 50s in the San Fernando and LA area. Among his group of street riding friends were Clark Gable, ard Bond, nd Robert Stack. This was his last motorcycle. Set up for flat track and it can be driven hard right now. Last registered in 1962. Milage is estimated between 8-10 K on frame and much less on rebuilt engine. Signed pink slip and clear title. Comes with quick lift adjustment and tire change stand. Also comes with spares manuel.
