1956 Mobylette/Motobecane AV 51 Motor Caravan French Moped Classic

A very rare Mobylette/Motobecane from 1956 This is my own Classic French Moped. I completely rebuilt the engine about 2 yrs ago and have only used it to visit our local bar in France. so the motor has done no more than 100 kilometres. You won't find a better or more original AV51 than this. nbsp;it starts very easily and runs superbly. The paint work has just about the right patina and is again original. brakes were replaced when the engine was rebuilt. tyres are good. this really is the best Mobylette aroundeven the bell is the original optional extra and still works. ide this  one anywhere    (I can supply and fit new tyres for the winning bidder about £55 for both) . I am a time honoured Motorcycle Mechanic. having served my apprenticeship at Archers of Aldershot some 50 yrs ago. it starts very easy. These are reputed to average in the region of 300 miles to the gallon. I am downsizing my collection so will be listing more in the future
