Description

Welcome to the auction for my little Skyjet affectionately known as "Project Put-Put"

This bike came to me as a wreck. if I was to be honest I only bought it for the crack but I hatched a plan to tidy it up a bit and got carried away. Basically when I got it it was a bog stock tatty bike with about 600 miles on the clock and it clearly hadn't been looked after so I stripped it and set about sorting it out. A rough outline of the work done is as follows.

Wheels replaced for Keeway supermoto items with new tyres and bigger wavy discs. all new bearings too.

One off fibreglass seat unit (Honda rs125/Skyjet blend). with custom subframe fabricated.

Polisport enduro headlamp and cowl with HID headlight conversion.

Cagiva Mito front mudguard.

One off stainless underseat exhaust system.

MX bar conversion with extended cables and Earls braided brake lines.

Genuine Honda CBR125 rear shock.

Mikuni VM28 carb.

Genuine Honda switchgear with Quick Action throttle

New bearings everywhere.

New chain and sprockets.

New battery. New pads. New oil. New plug.

There's a lot more but I'm struggling to remember. basically very little is untouched. everything has been apart and ?ˆ?refined?ˆ?. That said it is still a Chinese bike but I'd like to think I have improved it greatly and it's actually quite a hoot to ride around town. It's got MOT till the 18th of July 2015 . tax is just ??17 for the year. It's hard to accurately describe a bike like this as it's so far from standard so viewing it might be a good idea to any serious bidders. On that note please don't message me asking how much I want for it. the truth is I have no idea what to value it at and I'm well aware I'll never get back what it's cost me to build. It just seems silly to have it sat around doing nothing when someone may be able to make use of it.

Any questions feel free to ask and I'll try to be of some help.

Bidders with 10 feedback or less please make contact before bidding or your bid WILL be removed. You bid to buy. not come and tyre kick and viewing is welcomed so take a look before you bid if you wish. UK Bidders only please.
