Description

Hi. this the most reluctant sale of my Puch Maxi. only selling due to an ever expanding collection and this is the one I  am least likely to use. It is an early light switch in headlight model. It has an incredible file of original information. including the bill of sale. for ??74. 9 shillings. It was sold under a hire purchase agreement. ??25 deposit and ??3. 10 shillings a month! The bike was on the road from 1970 to 1976. I have all the tax discs for those years. two MOT certs. (didnt need an MOT for the first 3 years)There is the original green log book with 3 owners on it. (new V5 in my name too). the original owners handbook. and some original sales leaflets and brochures. The bike itself is in excellent original condition. not restored. it has just been cleaned and polished. The carb has been ultrasonically cleaned. nd it has a new fuel tap. thats it. It has been serviced with new oil. plug. air filter cleaned. etc. The decompresser/clutch lever setup has been set correctly so it starts and stops as it should. Just takes half a press on the pedal to purr into life. It ticks over beautifully and and revs cleanly. All the lights and horn work. it is ready for its first MOT in nearly 40 years. Believe or not the original tool kit is also present under the panel! The Craven panniers are original 70's and I think they look a treat. They would fetch probably ??100 from the C90 brigade!Puch Maxi's are rapidly becoming collectable and gaining in value. They are the next C90's! Its not the cheapest out there by a long way but with all its provenance its one of the best. in two years time it will look cheap. Any trial or test. may PX or swap but as I said I am running out of space so will need to be something I want!I am 1 min from J23 M1 LEICS (SHEPSHED)
