Suzuki SP 400 1980 Fully Restored

Here for sale is my fully restored Suzuki SP 400 which I have owned for over 3 years. the bike is taxed and MoT’d until June 2015

Work carried out in the restoration:-

·         Engine top end rebuild and carburettor sonic cleaned

·         Engine refinished in black and fins detailed and serviced with new oil and filter

·         Original exhaust fitted and finished

·         Frame and swing arm shot blasted and painted black

·         All body work re-painted including the black side panels and the red seat strips and original decals

·         Rewired with a newly created loom by Ferret

·         Forks re-chromed and refurbished

·         New Hagon rear shocks

·         Wheels refurbished with SS spokes and black powder coated hubs and have new tyres and tubes fitted

·         New chain and sprocket kit and new chain adjusters

·         New Suzuki gear lever. mirrors and levers with rubber details

·         New brake shoes all round

·         New battery

·         New chrome handlebars with new original throttle body and Suzuki grips

·         Stainless steel bolts used all round were possible

·         A lot of other Suzuki original bits and bobs mainly sourced from the internet

The only issues with the bike are that the rev counter has stopped working. some of the black paint has come off the exhaust downpipe and there is a small mark on the front mudguard under the “Bike” sticker apart from that the bike is in “as new” condition

The bike also comes with a Suzuki service manual. the original owners hand book and a Suzuki tool kit which sits under the side panel

I have some useful spares as well which may be available if the full asking price is paid for the SP

The bike is located 5 miles from the M1 J14 near to Newport Pagnell where viewing can be arranged
