Suzuki GSX1100EFE

Hello. this is my old EFE which is up for sale. It's a 1984 model. it's a Yugoslavian import model.

I bought this on ebay at the beginning of last winter. with the intention of carrying out a few mods. and maybe doing a little drag racing on it. Neither of these are going to happen now. due to work commitments. As soon as I got it home. it went straight into my spare bedroom. where it has remained all over this winter.

As you can see it's been modded a little by previous owners. it has R1 forks with a Triumph Daytona front wheel and brakes (this enables the use of the speedo cable. meaning you can keep the standard clocks) and a Bandit 1200 rear end. with what I believe is a GSXR1100 shocker (this needs a rebuild I think) it's well soggy !

The seat has been recovered to a very high standard and has gel inserts. It was fitted with blue Renthal bars. but I bought some fatbars and risers for it. they will come with the bike. The ignition has been moved to just under the right hand sidepanel. which works fine. but the barrel is a bit worn. It has a nice stainless exhaust fitted which sounds great. The tyres. chain and sprockets are good. The brakes need bleeding. they work ok. but feel spongy.

I have the V5 in my name. and registered at my address. There is no MOT on the bike. it expired over the winter. The only paperwork I have with the bike are the logbook. and 4 old MOT certificates from 02. 03. 04 and 05. I have nothing else.

It runs fine. but has been stood all winter so will need a small amount of effort to get it just right. I see no real issues with getting an MOT.

I will add more pics later. at the moment all I can find are the ones listed so far.

I also got a few spares with it when I bought it. these include a spare fuel tank which is dead rough. two spare seats. and a couple of sets of sidepanels. all of which are not that pretty.

The mileage is 41000. as it's not being used this will not increase.

I can't think of anything else to add at the moment. this is a great old bike. and could look fantastic with not a lot of effort.

You will need a van or trailer to take it away.

Just to answer a few  questions.

I would not class this as a project. Yes it needs a small amount of work. I reckon a good2/3 hours work will see it in a roadworthy condition.

I can't seem to find any more pics. I definitely have more on my pc. but not able to locate them. I will keep looking and upload asap !
