1972 Suzuki GT750

Up for auction is a 1972 Suzuki GT750 with approximately 37k+ miles (speedo was changed out back in the day and owner doesn't have the specifics to calculate mileage). This is being listed for a friend but I have access to the bike and the owner so please ask any and all questions including requests for other pictures. The obvious first - this was previously listed and did not hit his reserve. The bike was cleaned up a little to show it's potential and is now re-listed. The known bad - tires are old personal choice to use or replace. The engine indeed turns over and runs but it requires the choke (enricher) to be engaged a bit. Bike sat dormant in his "shed" for over two years although the tank and carbs were drained. As would be expected the fuel system should get some attention regardless. The good news about all of this is that all three head pipes get hot. Prior to the bike being placed in storage he had the carb-to-head intake boots replaced along with the petcock. The bike had a clear windscreen and a trunk box on it that have been removed - both available with the bike at no additional cost. The overall condition is as previously noted - normal patina for a 40+ year old bike. Will it need additional cleaning - absolutely. Will it need parts - personal choice again but everything is on the bike at this time. Not sure what else to say so I will just note to all interested parties to please ask any and all questions (including additional pictures) prior to bidding to avoid issues later. There is no "buy it now" - if this doesn't hit his reserve it will go back into storage for a later day. Buyer is responsible for all shipping/transportation costs including taxes/customs fees for international buyers. I will certainly help as much as possible with the physical movement of the bike but will need a little notice. Paypal is listed as a payment option but is only for a deposit; the balance will need to be a certified check or cash prior to bike/title release.
