This is a nice 1972 Suzuki GT750 J.  Commonly known as a "Water Buffalo". or a "Kettle" to our friends across the pond.  1972 was the first year of production for the GT750.  It is arguably the most desirable year of the GT750. with several one year only items. such as the 4 Leading Shoe (4LS) front drum brake. black face gauges. short kickstart lever. embossed engine covers. and many other details.  This bike is in excellent running condition.  It has 41. 41 miles on it.  This bike has had only one owner from 1974 to 2014 when we acquired it.  The original owner said he had enjoyed the bike and ridden it on several long trips over the years. and the bike always performed flawlessly (hence the slightly higher mileage than you see on a lot of 2 strokes).  He was still occasionally riding the bike up until we took delivery of it. so its never done long periods of sitting like most others have. Once we got the bike back to our shop. one of our highly experienced vintage motorcycle technicians disassembled and ultrasonic cleaned the carburetors just to be safe. then sync'd and adjusted them & adjusted the oil injection pump to factory settings. We installed new intake manifold rubbers. installed a new battery. and fresh fluids.   The ignition points were cleaned and gapped. and timing set to factory specs.  This bike fires up instantly and purrs like a kitten.  All the lights. gauges. and switches work properly.  The charging system was tested. and is in good working condition.   Here's your chance to own one of these rare first year "J" model GT750 2 stroke Suzuki motorcycles.   Please don't hesitate to call or email if have more questions about this bike.                          International Buyers Welcome !!
