1966 TRIUMPH TIGER SPORTS ROADSTER (T100SR)

Matching numbers 1966 Triumph T100SR. There is a clear title for this motorcycle. This is a somewhat rare sub-model of the T100 series. These came with smaller tanks, tachometer, nd sportier trim. Kind of a 500cc hot rod predecessor to the Daytona. This still has the "goose neck" frame, ut came with the top bar support welded on from the factory. On earlier year models the support bolted on. This bike came to us as a basket case. We unpacked the crate and made a roller to assess how complete of a project it was. This bike is about 80% complete. The Gas tank, il tank, nd fenders are in great shape. Has both the correct speedo and tach. However they need rebuilding/restoring. This motorcycle is a rolling restoration project. Everything needs work, ut it is mostly there. There are two new +.040 Hepolite pistons included. Looks like the cylinders were bored/honed to fit the new pistons at some point. However, he parts sat in a crate and saw some moisture. It will need a complete tear down, nspection, nd restoration; down to the crankshaft. It appears that an amateur restoration had been started but abandoned. A lot of the parts have been spray painted black. This bike ships with all the parts pictured. There are no additional parts beyond what is photographed. Biggest missing piece to the puzzle is the pipes. Please feel free to call or message us with any quesitons about this bike.
