1970 Triumph Trophy 250 in very nice condition. This is a mostly original, atching numbers machine. It has some nice upgrades that make it run better and also make it much more reliable than the stock setup. Bike looks, uns, nd sounds great ! Some of the highlights include:
Electronics are setup right with a typanium unit, oyer Bransden electronic ignition and a gel battery.
It has been repainted in the original Red color scheme. Paint is very good quality. It is nice and shiny as is most of the chrome work.
It has the original Amal carburator and it fuels nicely with the electronic setup.
All lights(headlight low and high, orn, ailight and brakelight) function as they should.
Dunlop K70 tires.
I have a clear State of Georgia title in hand.
Bike runs strong and that engine pulls like a mule ! It's pretty fast for a 250 and it sounds really good when you get on the revs ! (listen to the video posted below)
Like all British bikes it does leak oil(marks it's territory ! ). The speedo needle works, ut flickers a good bit. The odo works sporadically, o I'm not sure of the mileage. (it should be rebuilt or replaced)
Overall, t's a really cool old vintage Triumph that runs great and looks great too. These Triumph singles are really starting to go up in value. A couple sold last week on Ebay for 2350 and 2850.
