I apologize to those of you who viewed this bike during the previous auction and were interested, ased on my assertion that it is almost entirely original. Admittedly, have focused exclusively on Hondas prior to this bike. The previous owner had this bike for ten years, nd he assumed that it was all original when he purchased it. He relayed that to me, nd although I checked into it in a cursory way, did not do an adequate job of researching this subject. Thankfully, n Ebay member who is knowledgeable about this model pointed out my errors. The following components of this bike are not original: seat, ufflers, ear shocks, and grips, nd mirror. In addition, he front fender is not in its original condition; the front edge was shortened to eliminate a damaged front lip. Still, t a price of $3,200 (a $2,300 discount from the NADA value for an original bike in excellent condition with average mileage), believe this is a good value. I just purchased it from an older gentleman in Missouri, ho was no longer riding it.
It has only 21,262 original miles on it (average annual mileage for this size bike is 2,350, hich equates to 96,350 miles for a 41-year-old bike), ut the engine was rebuilt at about 18,000 miles. Immediately after the previous owner purchased this bike in 2003, ith approximately 18,000 miles on it, e had the engine rebuilt by a friend who was a Yamaha mechanic. It didn't need to be done, ut he wanted the engine to be like new. I asked if there was paperwork to document the rebuild, nd I'm waiting for a response. At this time, or the purposes of this auction, ou should assume there isn't any such documentation. It comes equipped with a windshield and luggage rack. The battery is new, nd the tires are in very good shape.There were no turn signals on this bike when I purchased it, nd it is being sold without any. Other missing components: right side rear view mirror and the red kill switch knob (appears to have popped off).
Overall, his bike is in excellent condition and was extremely well cared for. The gas tank has a couple noticeable scratches and one tiny ding on the left side. The side covers are in good shape, ut they do have a few noticeable scratches and one has some rash on it. The after-market seat is like new; there are no rips or tears. In general, here is VERY little surface rust on this bike. It starts and runs flawlessly, ll accessories and systems work as they should, t's very quick, t handles great, nd as far as I know, t needs nothing to be a great runner.

If you are dissatisfied in any way with the bike when you pick it up or prior to shipment, will fully refund your deposit and you will be immediately released from any and all contractual obligations regarding the purchase.
A $500 deposit via PayPalwill be required within 24 hours of auction close. The balance of the purchase price must be paid via cash or cashier’s check within 3 days of auction close. Full payment must be made (and payments cleared) before the title and/or the vehicle is released. If all required funds are not received as indicated above, reserve the right to keep the deposit and resell the motorcycle by re-listing or to another bidder. I am happy to assist with shipping arrangements, ut the winning bidder takes full responsibility for pickup and/or shipping at his/her cost.This motorcycle may be listed locally for sale, nd the Ebay listing may be deleted prior to auction end if it is sold.
