Yamaha xv700 Virago Chopper Bobber Project Up for sale is this Yamaha xv700 virago project bike. it has covered 20000ish miles (2 sets of clocks both showing similar mileage so pretty sure one must be correct) it comes with Keys but no V5 logbook as the previous owner misplaced it. I have however run a full genuine HPI check which shows (and guarantees) it is clear of finance and has never been written off or stolen. the winning bidder will need to apply for a replacement v5 from dvla using form V62 which will take 2-3 weeks.  I am told the bike was complete and running well prior to being stripped for customisation which I am inclined to believe is true as he has spent a fair amount of time and money on the bike including a customised and powder coated frame. billet alloy yokes. Custom made seat etc. As far as I can tell the bike is complete with the exception of a tail light. the bike is roughly assembled and will need various work doing. one thing to note is the tank does not fit properly although could be made to fit with some work and the shape suits the bike.  All in all it is a good basis for a project and has potential to be a very nice custom bike. best of luck and happy bidding
