Good points. Good general appearance. The ride is spot on. Good chrome work. Good paintwork. Electrical items & instruments all working with no warning lights showing. Controls (levers knobs etc) all adjusted correctly. Included paperwork; HPI print out (all clear). V5 registration document. Haynes service manual. Mikuni Tuning Manual & some service history invoices & notes. Bad PointsNo current MOT test certificate. Videos

The videos in this description are intended to give you an idea of the wear and tear. and any defects that I have found. whilst examining and testing the bike. The videos also give more detail on points relating to the paperwork and the good & bad points.

The Ride.

The bike feels spot-on. the wheels and steering feel perfectly aligned and there are no unusual effects in the handling. suspension. cornering or braking.

When cold. the engine bursts in to life straight away. There is no smoke. unusual noise or any other sign of any excessive wear. As the motor warms it settles down to a nice slow tick over. There is a little oily smell that notice when you first start the engine.

When under way on the road the engine has all the power it should have. accelerating through the gears just as it is supposed to. I cannot find any fault with the way the engine performs.

The wear and tear.

I can find no significant or unusual wear and tear in the wheels. suspension. engine. clutch. gearbox. steering. seat or panels. There are no obvious fluid leaks. There is no significant wear in the front wheel. rear wheel. steering or swing arm bearings (I checked them when I took the photographs). I cannot guarantee the quality of the battery. However the battery does show 'good condition' on a ?ˆ?battery optimiser?ˆ™. The battery seems to be starting the engine. Using the battery over a longer period than I am able to do. will tell you if it is OK.

Is the mileage right?

No. these are custom instruments. I think that in this case due to the age of the bike and the paperwork with the bike. that it is more important to consider the condition of the components on the bike. that can be examined by inspection and testing. than to assess the wear and tear using the odometer as a measure of the bikes quality.

Other.

There are no signs of any serious previous accidents in the history or around the bike.

There are no other visible faults or damage.

Because the bike has no current MOT test certificate I would recommend the bike is taken away on a trailer or in a van (just in case).

I do not always make comment on items that are supposed to wear as part of their normal function on a used motorcycle unless specifically asked. These items can include tyres. brake friction material. drive chain and sprockets. tyres. fork seals and lamp bulbs.

Collection Days.

Collect within 10 days. almost any time is OK (apart from Saturday and Sunday).

HPI Provenance Check. The bike has been checked against the HPI database this shows the bike:Has a secure background. Is clear of finance. Is clear of any previous accident insurance pay out. Is not stolen.

There are a number of other features in the check that are also included.

If you go on to the RAC website you can get the check done yourself (at a cost of ??25) they will also cover you up to ??10. 00. 00 in case of an error.

eBay will also do the check for you for ??6. 00.

MOT.

Although there is no current MOT test certificate with the bike. I could for the buyer get the local MOT testing station to test it. I can set the cost of this at ??100. 00 (in case it cost more) this would include the MOT test fee. any repairs or adjustments needed and the transportation to and from the MOT testing station.

If you want to ride the bike home without a current MOT test certificate. you may find that is possibly legal for you to ride it. to your local MOT testing station. without an MOT test certificate (as long as the booking is pre arranged). I would recommend you check with your MOT testing station first.

Viewing.

Viewing prior to deciding whether you are going to buy is not usually possible.

This is because I work on my own. Keeping up with the collections and deliveries and everything else that is going on keeps me very busy & leaves me with very little spare time.

Whilst I do also appreciate that some buyers want to see before they buy. this is not something I can help with. I know have to lose a few potential buyers because of this. This gives me time to supply those who will buy without seeing first.

If you do decide to buy without seeing the bike. I would not force you or anybody who was unhappy on seeing the bike to go ahead with the transaction and of course refund your ??100 deposit.

Deposit.

On receipt of a ??100. 00 deposit & if requested the buyer can be emailed photos of the frame number and a scan of the V5 registration document so that relevant checks can be carried out.

Deposit can be paid by PayPal or bank transfer (PayPal is not tailored for vehicle sales (the buyer is not protected and the seller pays the fees)).

'Bitcoin' is also OK for a deposit (not the balance).

'Paym' my mobile number can also be used for 'Paym' mobile phone payment system for deposit payment.

'Cheque' or 'bank transfer' methods are also OK for deposits.

Balance

This can be 'cash' on collection. 'bank transfer' or 'cheque' only.

Delivery.

You will need to arrange this yourself:

UK

There is a choice of motorcycle delivery companies in the eBay classifieds. If you put ?ˆ?Motorcycle delivery?ˆ™ in as the search. you will see the choice.

Another company I have used without any problem is 'Moving Motorcycles' ?ˆ?Ron Perkins Motorcycle Transport?ˆ™. You can find them at. www. movingmotorcycles. co. uk. They operate a 'home counties' fixed price of ??125. 00. Out side of this area costs a little more. Their email address is; transport@movingmotorcycles. co. uk Tel; 01322 660203 & 07730 434699.

I have used a company called www. motorcycledeliveryuk. co. uk without any problems. They might be worth a try (ask for Scott on 07956 592177).

There is a company BLD who will deliver anywhere UK mainland for reasonable prices. Click here.

Also hiring a trailer can be as little as ??15 for a day.

Also

This bike is guaranteed to be as described. If when you come to collect the bike you find it is not as described. you can refuse the transaction without risk to your deposit.

I am selling as a TRADER (this differs from a DEALER in that I do not have retail premises). However I do have over 30 years experience in the trade.

I cannot give you a full answer on issues with regard to the bike's prior history as it has not been my bike from new. I can however. share my opinion as to its appearance and mechanical condition. I always test-ride (where possible) and inspect all my bikes very carefully prior to listing them.

All information is written in good faith. Whilst I have done my best to describe the bike as accurately as I can. and I have tried not to miss anything by including as many-detailed close up pictures as I can. Not all the detail can be seen clearly. It is still possible for me to miss the odd item. and it is possible that there may be a faults damage & imperfections that seem insignificant to me and so therefore does not get a mention in the description. Also to make the text more readable I have not mentioned things that can be clearly seen in the pictures. so it is best to finish with the phrase. Errors and Omissions Excluded (E & OE).

The pictures.

Tip: Pressing F11 on your keyboard should enlarge your pictures still further. Press F11 again to turn off.

The pictures below were taken on 09/09/14. No ?ˆ?Photoshop?ˆ™ or similar photo makeover has been used to make the bike appear any better than it is. so take a good look at these pictures. as you may well see more detail here than you will if you are standing in front of the bike. After the pictures were taken the bike was put into dry storage. and will be kept dry & unused until sold.

Thank you for looking.
