1978 Yamaha SR500 Black Cafe Speed Racer

1978 Yamaha SR500 I bought this bike from the second owner. a professional motorcycle mechanic here in so cal. The bike's always been garaged and well maintained. The mileage is accurate. It runs excellent and starts first or second kick every time. The motor has a fresh tune with the valves. nbsp;cam chain. drive chain checked and adjusted. New high quality motor and fork oil. The exhaust note is beautiful and it pulls strong all the way trough the power-band. Yes. it wheelies off the line if you clutch it. a little thumper fun that you're cb buddies will envy. This lightweight yamaha always put a smile on my face. a real pleasure to canyon carve. amazing to bop around town and smooth on the freeway. I love the bike but I need the cash for a hot rod build. Yamaha designed these 500 motors to be bullet proof.
