Yamaha XS 650 in original condition

Very original 1978 Yamaha XS650 with matching numbers. This bike ran when it was parked 10+ years ago. but it is considered a project bike. The engine turns freely & has good compression. but it has not been started for over 10 years. Due to setting for so long and its age. the bike will need related items replaced. i. e?ˆ¦. fuel lines. etc. The tank and the carburetors should be cleaned. There is one small dent on the upper right side of tank. The paint is original. Front turn signals missing due to the bike previously having a small fairing with turn signals built in. The mileage is believed to be correct. This is a desirable survivor bike to restore for use. collection or museum. Unfortunately. most of these bikes have been converted to street trackers or bobbers.

NOTE: I ended yesterdays listing when I realized that I made an error on the model year. It is a 1978 model. Sorry for the confusion.
