I have decided to sell some of my rather too large motorcycle collection.
I bought this lovely bike in April 2014 as I had a hankering for an LC. On getting it home. I rode it up the garden. drained the carbs and put it in with my other bikes. I have not moved it since. Therefore it will need transporting away and a new mot. but then the roads are yours to enjoy. The battery seems to be ok. as I have charged it from time to time. and it still has plenty of charge in it.
I bought it on this description:
"Beautiful Yamaha 250LC in the best colour. blue and white. This actual bike features in Practical Sports Bikes issue 28. Feb 2013. The magazine tells the story along with pictures of how the bike was completely restored by a man called Chris Tunbridge. It tells how the bike was completely re-painted. restoved engine etc. It is a truly stunning 250. It has matching engine and frame numbers. The wheels etc have all been put back to Yamaha spec. It has the original type Yamaha exhaust pipes etc. Beautiful sound off the pipes and that lovely smell of silkalene oil. "
Imagine my amazement. when I turned up to pay for and collect the bike. I found a house crammed full of beautiful bikes - so many that the owners had moved upstairs to live. So. instead of buying one bike. I bought five!!! That was a good start to the year. To be fair. I probably have overdone it. as I now seem to have about 17. so the time has come to sell some. But my loss is your gain.

All of my bikes are kept and sold as investments and stored in completely dry conditions. All of them have had their carbs drained and therefore may need some slight fettling to restart them. although all of them were running perfectly when I put them away.
