Description

This is the only bike like this on earth. Custom made/Hand made. The only non-fabricated parts is the Honda Goldwing swing arm, he Harley Davidson carburetor, ordMustang radiatorand the Ford Flathead V8 60. This bike was hand made and masterfully crafted. You can see the details throughout this one-of-a-kind bike. The side car is comfortable to ride in and has it's own disc brakes. The brass and chrome work are stunning in person and shine up like new.

Here is some history on the engine:

Ford came out with the small V8 in 1937 to provide a more fuel efficient and less expensive option to the regular 85hp equipped cars and light commercial vehicles. These engines were obvious by their small size and the 17 Stud heads. Ford also built the 60hp engine for the European market with some modifications. The water pumps are also mounted in a common casting that mounts to the front of the engine and serves as the timing cover and engine mount. In the first year of production, hese engines had "tin" sided outer water jackets which were welded onto the cylinder portion of the block. The production of the tin-sided blocks ended in April, 937. Late 1937 and newer model year vehicles had the newer and more conventional "all cast iron" blocks. 1940 was the final year for the 60hp since the new 90hp six cylinder engine would debut for 1941.The V8 Sixty was a popular engine for aftermarket applications, articularly in midget race cars in the 1950's and 60's. It can also be found in some of today's custom "big bike" motorcycles.

This bike will drive comfortably at around 55 - 60mph. It comes with a custom built trailer. This bike shifts like an old car. It's loud and proud but you shift slow and easy. It has a left foot clutch/right foot brake and normal gas on the right handlebar. It is cold blooded as you can imagine being a 1937 V8 but it has started for me every time and has no problem running. There are no oil or coolant leaks. I have had no problem with burning oil. It simply runs awesome. This is not the bike you take on a 1000 mile ride. This is the bike you take to bike week on the trailer and then ride it through town as EVERYONE stares at you when you drive by. We have it at our car dealership. 29,000 people drive by every day and dozens stop by just to gawk at it. We have not attempted to sell it prior to this and we reserve the right to sell it at our dealership and end the auction should it sell for the right price. We are starting the bidding at $7500. We have No Reserve. It Will Sell!
