1963 Harley Davidson Topper scooter

This is an excellent restored 1963 Harley Davidson Topper, D#63AH1348. This is the more desirable "high performance" AH engine with a whopping 9hp. The previous owner did a complete restoration (see pictures), aking it down to the frame, estoring and painting each part, nd had a mechanic rebuild the engine. I bought this several years ago, ook it to a couple of shows and had a ball, nd then let it sit in my garage for the last 2 years. It is not running because it has been sitting--I tried to start it and it turned over fine, ut probably needs to be fiddled with (carb cleaned. etc.) and I just do not have the time.
FYI, arley built the Toppers in the Milwaukee factory for several years in the 1960s because they thought there was a market for a scooter in the US, ut Vespa turned out to be too hard to compete with. Nice Toppers are fairly rare.
I have a number of photos that show its condition so you know exactly what you are buying. As shown, have the original owner's manual, ervice manual, windshield, nd a big box of miscellaneous OEM parts.
