Honda NC30 part restored project TSR Exhaust

Honda NC30 bought as a project bike 18 months ago. I have since carried out a fair amount of work on the bike.

The bodywork which was on the bike was a brittle first generation Chinese copy. this was removed and filed under BIN. the carbs were removed ultrasonic cleaned. jets changed to 115/118's from the Japanese 110/115's. emulsion tubes refitted to the correct carb locations and diaphragm's and slides checked. new air filter and a new set of plugs and battery fitted.

The bike now runs well and starts straight off the button.

The exhaust on the bike was in poor condition so I sourced a very rare TSR half system and fitted this with a stubby moto gp style carbon can. this is 41mm diameter so the sound is very crisp unlike some of the 'over piped' NC30's this also maintains the design characteristics of the exhaust.

New steering head bearings/front wheel bearings have been fitted and a pair of brand new bridgestone BT090's (two months old. so still fresh).

I have the front master cylinder. lines and callipers also the front headlamps original bars (if the alloy clip-ons are not to your taste) and possibly a rear light.

All that really needs doing now is to fit some replica bodywork and get the tank painted to suit (a small dent in the tank) then mot her.
