Honda CB750FA DOHC

For Sale is My cb750fa. that have recently restored . recommissioned after 10 years in a farmers barn. (genuinely from a barn )

Good points.

Runs lovely with overhauled carbs . new jets . floats etc.      All brake seals have been changed and brand new david Silvers master cylinder. New pads.

New cables.   New paint.    fork seals done.   Reconditioned Stanchions from America. refurbished with Oregon State Patrol wrapping when arrived.   

New coils and expensive new CDI ignitors from the states.   New chain and sprokets set.    New rear shocks.    New seat cover included but not fitted.   New wheel bearings front and back.   New head bearings.

Box full of spare enfine parts from cb900.    I picked up because I wanted a couple of bits namely a tacho drive of the front cam that was broken on mine. Looks like full engine in bits but no crank cases.

Bad points.     Engine paint and lacquer has discolured soon after painting.    See photos.     Also slight judder under heavy braking.   Might need to tighten head bearings that may have settled or perhaps warped brake disc.

Initially had charging problem . but this is now fixed with multi pluf on solenoid and have temp fitted ammeter which now shows it is charging.

Also may need someone more experienced tha me to balance those carbs.  

It still does need final detailing but have cetainly done the hard work for youa nd I have spent far to much money.   Must admit how much to the boss in doors.

Only done 200 miles since refurb as basically have too mant projects . and cars on the going and a very time consuming job.

To be honest I am one of those guys who enjoys getting sad cases running.

Now have to sell as my lad needs an automatic car to learn to drive and have to sell this and the manual car we got him to fund.  

Got to remember sometimes that family should come first as I spend more time in the garage spending too much money on spares. /p>

I will lose money but priced sensible to sell. The starting price of £800 is a selling price.   no reserve.

Please . lease come to view.    Dont buy blind and then complain.    Photos can make things look better or worse.
