Italjet mm5a bambino motorbike, Spares or repair, barn find,Kids Vintage not JC5

Hi reluctantly up for grabs to one lucky bidder is a Italjet MM5A Mini Mini Bambino Twist & Go kids vintage motorcycle dates around the early 70's. lso known as a "Mini Mini Indian" iv'e had it for around 18 or 20 years. my girls used to play on it up to 10 years ago when it got tucked away in the back of the garage to be restored at a later date. unfortunately all it has done is collect dust and look interesting whenever anyone visits!I have come to the conclusion that time and space is not on my side and it probably wont end up getting done anytime soon!!This was the smallest model they made in the day!The bike itself is all original apart from a modified exhaust (converted to an under seat exit to stop the kids burning their legs on it!) it has 8" spoked wheels with i think the original tyres! the seat has a denim cover  and the mudguards and chain guard have gone astray (that means they aren't included!)The engine is the original kickstart Franco Morini 50cc Automatic and was running well but it hasn't been started lately i would imagine it would need a carb cleanout at the very least! Brakes forks. hocks and wheels all work freely. Engine has plenty of compression. The chrome has seen better days and the the forks have had silver paint at some time. This is in my opinion is a rare appreciating classic and quite collectable to be restored for display or use with careful kids! lol!The bike is tiny it will fit in the boot of most cars it measures 24" from axle to axle with 8" wheels and a 20" seat height. The bike is easily worth the starting price for a piece of motorcycle history!
