Kawasaki 400 S3 triple 1974 Project. This bike is a collection of parts I've been collecting over the years. I'm selling it all as a complete lot due to health reasons. There is a frame with V5 (74 M Reg) in my name with matching engine numbers about 11. **. The engine has run recently and there is a good crank. the cases have no damage and all the studs are intact. The barrels are rebored +0. 5 with no more than running in mileage. As you can see in the pictures there is a set of new engine seals. full gasket set and jointing compound for the cases. All the gear components are good and there are some spare shafts. kickstarts and clutches. There are several oil pumps and the whole generator/points set-up.   The carbs have been ultrasonically cleaned and there are carb kits containing new needles. jets etc. The airbox is genuine S3 and the airbox/carb rubbers are new. The airfilter is a K+N for a 500 which I was going to modify to fit. There are also some bits (350LC?) to convert to rubber carb/inlet manifolds. but all the kawasaki stuff is there. There are at least two petrol taps. All the paint-work is in good condition. no missing side panel lugs. the frame and swing arm are  sound. no rust or rot but there is some damage to the battery box brackets. There are taper roller head-stock bearings and proper S series fork yokes. The forks themselves are S3 and the chrome is fantastic with no pitting. There are some new (pattern KH) shocks and some Renthall alloy bars. The brakes are complete with a proper S3 front master cylinder and calliper in good order. Both wheels are there with all the spindles and spacers. there is even a chain and sprocket set that looks hardly used. The seat is solid and has had a new cover. There is an S series loom. loads of coils. ignition switch with key and seat locks. There is also some Yamaha wiring (I was going to use a smaller Yamaha battery and regulator/rectifier to accommodate the K+N). There is also a box of cables and several tins full of nuts. bolts. washers  and assorted bits. The clocks have white a background. show 19. 00 miles and work when tested with a drill. All the switch-gear is present and correct. I've broken several bikes on the way to getting this far so all the elusive bits  are there. The bits missing that I can think of:Rear mudguard (no surprise!)Exhausts. not as rare as people say. D+K often have them. including genuine pre KH pipes. Headlight -pattern ones readily availableTyres. Any questions please ask.
