1978 Kawasaki KZ1000

I have a 1978 KZ1000 up for sale.   I have recently set the timing. cleaned the carbs. and also set the valve clearances to factory specs.   It pulls very strong and runs as it should.   I think it could still use some fine tuning to make it perfect.   It has a Dyna electronic ignition and Dyna 3. 0 ohm green coils.   I put a new petcock on the tank. as well as an inline fuel filter and new fuel lines.   The carbs on the bike are from a 1979 or 1980 KZ1000. they have the accelerator pump on the #2 carb.

It has a little popping on deceleration. which I think is coming from running a little bit lean.   The front brake works well. the rear brake could use some adjustment with the brake pedal.   The bike needs turns signals and also the low beam is out. needing a new bulb.   The clutch cable needs some minor adjustment. the bike occasionally wants to move slightly forward in 1st gear with the clutch pulled in.
