Description

1929 Henderson KJ
The antique motorcycle for sale is a 1929 Henderson KJ. It has been in our family many years. This motorcycle comes with a good clean Nebraska Title, nd Bill of Sale.
This motorcycle was ridden by my brother in the famous Cannonball cross country race back in 2012. The engine was completelyrestored about six months before the race. The engine at the timehad the following work done: New Pistons, ew Babbitt in Rods and Mains, nd Line Bored.New Clutch,Valves etc. Its an easy starter and runs very smoothly. I assume it has about 4000 miles onthe engine since rebuild, as Odometer/Speedometer was added recently). Strong oil pressure.Transmission shifts smoothly and all gearsfunction normally. Since that time, added a freshlyrebuild original speedometer, ith new cableassembly and drive gear, henset it to an estimateof what the mileage probably is, ithin reason. The engine has an external oil filter installed that can easilyand quickly be removed if desired.
Please note the original, orrect and very rareSchebler DLX70carburetor !! Correct Henderson KJ Rims, ith 18" Continental Tires. Only 4000 miles on Tires.Good front fork. The fenders are original and in good condition, ith a metal front skirt tackedon, robably sometime in the 1950's or so.The gas tanks are in good shape and do not leak. The ignition switch on the dash is new. Theammeter does not work. The headlight, nd horn arenotwired. Matching case numbers, s the pictures show!! Look how nice the cooling fins are!
As with any vintagemotorcycle, cannotguarantee any future mechanical aspects. All I cansay is that it runs great now, nd has since the engine was restored. The job was done right.
