CLASSIC SUZUKI T500 COBRA FROM 1968. SHOW CONDITION.

For sale is a fully restored and un-marked 1968 Suzuki Cobra 500. that is perfect to the last detail. even having the original tyre pump. as it left the factory. (see last photo). The bike is stunning. and for many years. it formed part of a private Suzuki collection in the USA. Regularly maintained and started to keep everything well lubricated. The collection of many motorcycles.  was sold off. due to personal circumstances. between 2005 - 2006. at which time. this particular bike was bought (with others) by an importer in Eire. It was kept in Ireland for a few years. before being sold on to a friend of mine in England. He kept the bike. as part of his collection. for a while. and then I took ownership around a year ago (swapped for classic British bike). In all this time. the bike has never been used on the road. and as such will require registering. if intended for road use. (I have taken it to a few meetings by van). This bike is very rare. as the Cobra was only produced for one year. before it became the Titan. which was directed at the European market. The odometer reads only 7 miles since total refurbishment (mostly being pushed around !)The only issue with the bike. is a weak kick-start return spring. which does not affect the starting or running. but if you are 'in-the-know' you will appreciate that replacing this is an 'engine-out' job. as the spring is within the cases. I have left it as is. as I don't want to chance damaging the pristine cosmetics. and never intended using the bike.
