Yamaha RD400f not KH or GT

Yamaha RD400f in gleaming yellowA fast appreciating classic. One of the last air cooled models. The bike is a UK model and was registered in August 1979. Originally the colour was silver. It is in really good condition and only requires a few final touches to make it a minter. The bike is all original apart from the Avon roadrunner tyres which suit the bike really well. Frame and engine numbers DO NOT matchThe engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and has masses of compression. It starts really easily and pulls like a train. I recently overhauled the front brake including genuine Yamaha pads. Everything works as it should and it will have a full 12 month MOT once sold. I rode the bike throughout last summer and it never missed a beat. Everywhere I went people were all over it. Ignoring new bikes completely. I recently had the original exhausts rechromed by Nyphos in crewe so look brand new. The bike has had a new battery also chain and sprockets were fitted recently. If your looking for a completely unmolested RD400f in excellent condition then please come along and have a look. The photos don`t do it justice. The only bad points are a scratch on the nearside engine casing which I have tried to show in the pictures also there are a couple of blemishes on the tank but they are so small I couldn`t get a picture. For a 35 year old bike it`s in great condition. This bike is an honest example in excellent condition but is not immaculate or concours. I bought it to ride and not just to sit in the garage getting polished. I don`t have time to do any more work on her now so it`s time for it to go. I dont mind anyone coming over to view the bike.
