Description:The owner of this bike says: "I am selling my 1981 Yamaha SR500 - 4098 original miles.

I am 2nd owner. Original Bill of Sale from the dealership. Sales brochure owners manual 2 keys. Factory stock except dual oil line mellow 26" slip-on muffler grab/lift bar and Yuasa battery.

I have the original muffler which is in fair shape with a repaired patch - functional but heavy and too quiet. I also have the original mirrors in great shape. No rust in tank and it starts on 1st or 2nd kick (kick-start only).

It runs and rides perfect goes through all of the gears without a hitch and sounds great. The clutch is perfect and all of the electronics work as they should. There are no rips/tears in the seat and foam is bouncy. I just changed air and oil/filter (full synthetic).

This is a true "Survivor" and these are so hard to find in this condition. "
