Yamaha RD400 1977

One very nice clean 1977 Yamaha RD400 with a little over 6900 miles. New tires, ew straight bars. Seat new. Chrome pipes have some small pitting( see pics) bike starts up on 3-4 kicks when cold but needs carb cleaning because it runs better on half choke which means the idle circuit is plugged and dirty.Bike is set up for pre-mix( odd since the Yamalube is very reliable as long as you dont run out of oil and need to bleed the system).I bought new parts and a rebuilt and recondioned Autolube oil pump for this bike with the gaskets and correct throttle/pump cable assembly. Will need an oil tank line and a rubber cap. See pics where seat is open and you will see the tank where the rubber plug goes. Bought all new oil pump larts from EconomyCycle in Illionios. They are RD specialists and they can be looked up on the inernet The bike is nice and clean and makes a sweet 2 stroke sound when idling or revving up. Bike is not a 77. I made a mistake. It is a 1978 RD400.
