1976 Yamaha XT500 Survivor

Up for sale is a 1976 Yamaha XT500 that has been in storage for 37 years. From what I was told the bike was purchased in Califorinia late 1976 and in the following year had an issue with the intake valve. The bike was then taken apart and never put back together. It traveled from California to Idaho in the mid 80's and then sat inside a storage unit until recently. From what I can see the bike is mostly complete. The tank is in excellent shape for her age and it even has the original tires on her. It is missing the side covers. header pipe. cam gear and intake valve and springs and other misc items. It is a excellent bike for restoration and would make a great addition to anybodies vintage motorcycle collection. The only reason I'm selling the bike is that I do not have the time to restore her. I would love to see her got to a good home and be put back on the road. I don't have a title to the bike it was lost years ago and since the bike has been sitting since 1977 I can get you a bill of sale from the original owner.  Thanks for looking.
