Description
Very original barn find. My father has asked me to sell his 1978 Yamaha SR500 motorcycle. Dad bought this vehicle in the early1980s and used it infrequently through 1988. It has been in the back of his garage ever since. The motorcycle has 2510 original miles. Very unique one cylinder kick start motorcycle. I drained the fuel and cleaned the bowl of the carburetor. It started easily and will idle with the choke on (jets still need to be cleaned). It is in original condition but needs restoration. The front fender and handle bar has sever pitting in the chrome. I can assist in delivery to the Bangor/Rockland Maine area or help package it for freight shipment.
