1934 HARLEY DAVIDSON CB RARE 500cc SINGLE

Up for auction is a 1934 Harley Davidson CB single cylinder 30. 50" (500cc).  According to my internet research. this is a very rare bike. The CB was offered for one year only. It utilized the frame from Harley's 350cc "B" model and the engine from the 500cc "C" model.   According to my search. only 310 "CB" models were built.   I have had the bike for roughly 15 years. where it has sat in my climate controlled warehouse.   The bike was restored when I purchased it.   I am not an expert on these early models. so please ask questions and I will answer to the best of my ability.   The powdercoat / paint on the frame. wheels. front-end and handlebars are quite nice.   All of the sheet metal parts will need to be repainted (tanks. rear chain guard. primary cover and both fenders).   It looks like the sheet metal paint was of poor quality at the time of restoration (see pics).   I believe that the headlight. horn cover. rear stand and exhaust are reproduction.   The seat is an old original Harley. however. from a later year.   Most other parts appear to be original. again. I am not an expert on these models.  The carburetor will need to be rebuilt. it is an original Wheeler Schebler GX-4.   The bike has great compression.   With a 6 volt battery applied. the bike has hot spark. Front and rear brake seem to work well. The bike has been rewired with a correct cloth covered harness. Please look at the pictures carefully. we will be happy to answer any questions you have.   

The bike comes with a clear Kentucky title in my name.  

A $500 paypal deposit will be required within 48 hours of the auction's end.   The balance will be paid in cash at the time of pickup.   I will accept other payments as long as the funds clear before the bike leaves my shop.   I have sold several bikes to Japan and Australia and will be happy to assist in any way I can.   Shipping arrangements are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
